Heather completed her pre-registration nursing degree and post-registration intensive care speciality education in Vancouver, Canada. Since moving to Brighton in 2002, she has worked as an intensive care nurse, work-based learning facilitator for physical assessment, and Intensive Care Pathway Leader at the University of Brighton (2007-present). In addition to leading the intensive care modules, Heather currently provides teaching for a range of physical assessment modules and helps contribute to the teaching of other acute care nursing skills within the BSc Acute Clinical Practice course. Heather completed the MSc Clinical Studies and Education course from the University of Brighton in 2010.
