The latest Guardian University Guide out today (Tuesday 12 May 2009) ranks six courses at the University of Brighton to be amongst the top performers in the country. The rankings look at staff, spend per student, student staff ratio, student feedback, value added as well as job prospects.
Mathematics is positioned at 15 this year, achieving a Guardian score of 62.3 out of 100.
The Guardian's university guide also noted that Brighton's "varied degrees have a strong professional focus - 94% of undergraduate courses have opportunities for work-based learning - with good graduate employment rates.”
It also highlighted that Brighton “actively nurtures students’ entrepreneurialism through its Beepurple network, holding monthly workshops to develop business ideas and provide start-up advice.”
