Untitled Document Lyn is Reader in Human Computer Interaction in the School of Computing, Engineering and Maths, where she teaches in the Computing Division. She has designed  and taught modules in HCI, user centred design, learning technologies, creative design, technical authoring and research methods at undergraduate and masters level. Lyn has been involved as a researcher in numerous learning technology projects, mostly concerned with aspects of communication, writing and language learning, reflecting her background in language, AI and HCI. Most recently she has designed and managed a number of projects funded by outside agencies including  JISC, Technology Strategy Board and EU Lifelong Learning projects, focussing on interactive television for learning, augmented reality and in particular mobile learning. She also has extensive experience in supervising PhD projects in these areas.
